Editors note: online Colors should only be used as a general guideline to allow for screen variances
Editors note: If I was working this design, I think I would take full advantage of the Penelope canvas and use Petite point on the important features of the Collie, such as the nose, mouth/teeth details and especially the eye!! I would also probably introduce a simple patterned background to break up the solid color – please note that the wool allowance included as an option does not include any of these suggestions.
Editors Note: For a more modern look, experiment with a combination of threads and textures. Variegated threads can add interest as can metallic, rayon or silk threads for that added sheen and sparkle. Using matching colors in different mediums lets you introduce texture into your work.
