 Anchor 4 Ply Grounding Wool is ideal for Tapestry, Bargello and other canvas work where consistency of color is paramount for large areas of backgrounds in solid colors.

Anchor 4 Ply Grounding Wool is currently available in 20 shades however we also have a number of discontinued Hanks  in current colors from the 4 ply Tapestry Wool range.

Shades no longer offered as Hanks in the Anchor Tapestry range are listed with the abbreviation “DISC” after their shade number together with Hanks currently in stock.  Once these are exhausted, these Shades will only be available in 10m Skeins.    Clearance prices apply.

Anchor Grounding Wool is available in the larger 39m Hanks to ensure color consistency in your work.   Manufactured from 100% Pure New Wool and used extensively worldwide by tapestry and needlepoint enthusiasts, predominately to work large areas of solid background colors.  Anchor Grounding Wool is the same high quality as shades available in Skeins.  They are also color fast, moth proofed and tightly twisted wool for the minimum of fraying while you work.

Needle size recommended for 4 Ply Tapestry Wool is a Size 18 Tapestry Needle for canvas or tapestry work.
