The Quatuor Tapestry shows us the fun that four dolphins can have as they surf in on the rolling breakers at dusk as the stars come out.

The literal translation of Quatuor  is “Quartet” which is exactly what it looks like, four dolphins frolicking and playing in the breakers as day slowly slips away and the night beckons.   A free and easy life, both day and night and over and under the sea for all sorts of fun.

Editors Note: For a more modern look, experiment with a combination of threads and textures. Variegated threads can add interest as can metallic, rayon or silk threads for that added sheen and sparkle.  Using matching colors in different mediums lets you introduce texture into your work.   Perhaps consider some textured stitches??
