The Poppies and Daisies Tapestry by Royal Paris is a lovely bright floral picture featuring two of our favorite blooms, Poppies and Daisies.

The flowers are set on a soft pale yellow background which showcases the strength of color of the Poppies especially.   The combination of red, white and blue, always a traditional eye pleasing palette to compliment your decor.

Editors Note: For a more modern look, experiment with a combination of threads and textures. Variegated threads can add interest as can metallic, rayon or silk threads for that added sheen and sparkle.  Using matching colors in different mediums lets you introduce texture into your work.   Perhaps consider some textured stitches??

I always think the centers of the flowers would  look a bit special if they had a bit of sparkle added to them!
