Feeding the Birds Tapestry
by Semco
Available as Canvas only or with quality Anchor Stranded Cotton
The Feeding the Birds Tapestry is a peaceful design of a lovely little girl feeding the birds next to the bird bath.
Judging by her lovely big bonnet, she has been out collecting flowers in the sun and go distracted by the birds playing in the bird bath.
This tapestry canvas is a fine Mono (single thread) canvas and the extensive instructions included recommend using 3 strands of Stranded Cottons to complete the picture.

Editors Note: For a more modern look, experiment with a combination of threads and textures. Variegated threads can add interest as can metallic, rayon or silk threads for that added sheen and sparkle. Using matching colors in different mediums lets you introduce texture into your work. Perhaps consider some textured stitches for the background? Yes, it can be done on canvas as well as in embroidery and blankets!
To complete the look, we offer the following complete ranges:
- Appleton 2 Ply Crewel Wool
- Anchor Stranded Cotton
- Anchor Variegated Stranded Cotton
