An easy to stitch pattern suitable for Beginners and was by far, my most popular in store pattern!
Editors Note: This was my ‘go to project’ when I had a needlework beginner come into the store. I love the way that it gives a beginner a variety of stitches to learn in two different thread types, giving them exposure to textural finishes. I always thought it was a wonderful practical first project rather than a Stitch Sampler, which often ends up in the bottom of a drawer……

- Suitable Backing Fabric in either 100% Cotton, Brushed Cotton, Velour or Minky (1.10m x 1.5m)
- 40cm x 50cm Wet n Gone* or Solvy
- 6cm x 7cm Vliesofix Fuser*
- 8cm x 9cm piece of check fabric* (100% Cotton)
- Gumnut Poppies Threads in #645 Green x 2 skeins & #293 Blue x 1 Skein
