Easy to use Iron on Double Sided Fabric Adhesive
Vliesofix®/Bondaweb bonds fabrics permanently together quickly and easily. It can be used for garment hems, cushions, decorative projects and suitable for any sewing project and can also be used to add stiffness to fabric.
Vliesofix®/Bondaweb is just perfect for applique, wall hangings, garments hems, cushions, cards or decorative boxes and is excellent for bonding textiles, craft work , mending and reinforcing too. It provides fast and perfect appliques on shirts, blouses, and other clothing and is also suitable for felt, wood, cardboard, leather and raffia.
Vliesofix®/Bondaweb is 90cm wide and is sold in 1 metre lengths.
Order 1 quantity and Vliesofix®/Bondaweb will measure 90cm x 1 metre, order 2 quantities and your Vliesofix®/Bondaweb will measure 90cm x 1 metre and so on.
Here are a few tips to help you get the best out of this product:
Always leave a small allowance of extra Vliesofix®/Bondaweb outside of your drawn shape.
Cut on the drawn line after ironing to the fabric.
Use a mechanical pencil for all your drawing.
Always have your iron set on cotton, and use a dry-iron setting.
This ensures a good seal to the fabric and means no lifting and no fraying will occur.
To lift a iron-bonded piece:
Wet a handkerchief; squeeze out most of the water.
Place handkerchief on the piece not needed, and place iron on and leave for a few seconds (piece should be hot and damp at this stage).
Use a pin to lift a corner and peal off leaving little or no residue.
