Wet n Gone Water Soluble Stabilizer

Wet n Gone Water Soluble Stabilizer is the product we used to use in store when we wanted to transfer an embroidery pattern from a template onto our fabric for stitching.   We found it to be an accurate and easy way of preserving the integrity of a pattern as you embroider directly over the pattern that’s traced on the Wet n Gone which then dissolves in water once submerged. 

Using a fine PERMANENT  marker, trace over your pattern template then place into position on your fabric or blanketing  and tack into place.   Now you can sew directly over your pattern until its complete.    Once the stitching is finished, trim any excess Wet n Gone away and then rinse in room temperature water and the Wet n Gone dissolves away.

Editors Note:  Please ensure that you use a PERMANENT Marker to trace your pattern.  This ensures when the Wet n Gone Water Soluble Stabilizer dissolves, the marker dissolves with it.  In store, we saw work ruined  and hearts broken for the sake of saving a few dollars on a proper permanent marker when a student unbeknown to us just used a marker they already had and the ink ran once submerged.
