Devon Bridge Rowandean Embroidery Kit

    The Rowandean Devon Bridge Embroidery Kit is a lovely overall embroidery of a rural scene featuring Devon Bridge, such an English icon.

This is one of the older kits, as noted from the design number,  but it is still an interesting project as the highlights of the design  are the vibrant floral gardens which are worked separately on the  charcoal worsted wool fabric  which is used as part of the mounting  for a more dramatic feature.

This kit is worked in a variety of embroidery stitches including french knots to accentuate the flowers.

This kit would make an delicate and enjoyable project for the novice  through to the more experienced stitcher by following the detailed enclosed instructions.

It would also be a suitable gift  for the more discerning stitcher who likes a variety of projects to work on.

• Inner Printed design on Salamanca fabric
• Mount fabric design printed on wool worsted fabric
• presorted threads on a numbered organiser card
