Brilliant Christmas Advent Calendar Panel

The Brilliant Christmas Advent Calendar Panel is a modern and elegant way to count down the days to Santa’s imminent arrival.

The Brilliant Christmas Advent Calendar Panel features a modern Christmas Tree surrounded by Christmas Presents and among hanging Christmas Ornaments on an elegant cream background with beige/brown tonings and gold trimmings.

The Brilliant Christmas Advent Calendar Panel is ready to be embroidered and embellished or simply assembled to add some extra Christmas excitement to your festive decorations.

The designs are outlined with metallic gold guild which makes the panel sparkle, however embroidering over that with some gold thread and adding some metallic stars or beads and sequins will  make it add a bit more bling  and make it sparkle even more.

The numbered pockets are attached in 4 separate rows (not individual pockets) and are clearly marked on the panel.  The full assembly  including how to assemble the pockets and suggested quilting and binding instructions are pre-printed on the panel.

The entire Brilliant Christmas Advent Calendar Panel measures approximately 60cm x 112cm and is 100% cotton.

The finished size of the advent Calendar (once its made up) is approximately 57cm x 58cm.   Of course, you can always add a border or two if you would like to make the Calendar larger and a real feature in your festive decorations.

Just in case you are a bit nervous about embellishing and adding beads and sequins to your Advent Calendar  for some extra sparkle

The History of Advent Calendars

The tradition dates to the mid-19th century, when German Protestants made chalk marks on doors or lit candles to count the days leading up to Christmas.  Gerhard Lang is widely considered the producer of the first printed Advent calendar in the early 1900s.
